Plarium

Plarium is an Israeli video game developer and publisher headquartered in Herzliya, Israel, founded in 2009. The company is a subsidiary of Swedish digital entertainment company Modern Times Group (MTG), which acquired Plarium to expand its gaming portfolio. Plarium creates mobile games, PC games, and browser games in genres including RPG, strategy, action, and casual gaming.

Plarium's most successful title is Raid: Shadow Legends, a dark fantasy RPG that has surpassed 100 million downloads and become one of the highest-grossing mobile RPGs globally. The game is known for its extensive marketing campaigns featuring celebrities including Jeff Goldblum, Megan Fox, and Neymar. Other notable Plarium titles include Mech Arena, Vikings: War of Clans, the Stormfall franchise, and Merge Gardens (acquired via Futureplay). Plarium's games are available on iOS, Android, Windows, Steam, and through its own Plarium Play launcher.

Plarium employs over 1,300 people across studios in Herzliya (headquarters), Warsaw, Barcelona, Helsinki, and several Ukrainian cities including Kharkiv, Lviv, and Kyiv. The company acquired San Francisco-based Rumble Games in 2017 (closed 2022) and Helsinki-based Futureplay in 2021 to expand its game portfolio and development capabilities.
